Why is it that you always love the ones who don’t love you? It’s like we are all Masochists who yearn for the torture of love and heartbreak. Do we subconsciously sense that this person is unavailable? Whether it’s emotionally or physically we always want the one we can’t get attention from. I always feel like when I am head over heels for someone, the rest of the world is at my feet hoping to steal my attention. But I would never notice because my focus is one hundred percent on the one who doesn’t care. Does this mean that maybe I am one of those graveling at his feet hoping to steal his affection from someone he is obsessing over?
Is there something sexy about the unobtainable man or woman? Striving for something out of your league, or that you secretly know you can’t get? Do we secretly love rejection? Or do we need it?
